HELLO to everyone. John and I decided to come to the business center and check my e-mail and journal.
We're having a GREAT time! The weather has been AWESOME! We went for a drive this morning in our "Cadillac" John rented. He is such an old man. I know when he retires that is the car he will own. Stef, you thought he rented a convertible....that's hiliarious. Are those cars safe???? hee hee
We spent the rest of the day on the beach. I read a little and we did crossword puzzles. Aren't we EXCITING! It's been nice just hanging out together. John did an amazing job planning this trip. I haven't had to worry about anything.
I'm starting to really miss my girls. Thanks mom for taking such good care of them.
Grandma and Papa Schlegel, we're sooo excited that you guys are coming to visit. Nancy, Stef and I need major help in the sewing dept. I hope you're up for that. Emily thinks we left to come pick you guys up. She has been missing you so much.
I can't wait to see everyone when I get back. I've missed you guys!!!!
Oh, Stef, get your walking shoes ready. I bet I've gained 10lbs since I got here. It was well worth it though.
Mom Wood, thanks for the advice you gave us to get away.
Well, we're off to watch a movie.
Blessings,

What a GREAT day!
Teri, thank you for helping out with Abby's mullet. It had to go. Her hair looks so cute now. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
The weather was yucky today. We just stayed around the house. Emily had Sydney over. Karen, Sydney is you made over. She is so cute and sweet. I hope she had a good time. They played dress up, ate pizza and leftover birthday cake. I have pictures that I will e-mail you.
Claire, I LOVED YOUR NEW CLOTHES. You are one cute mama.
Kelly, what about the acrobats? Your post had me laughing out loud. You're crazy!
I'm getting excited about our trip. I've felt pretty good all day. My hands are still bothering me a little. Stef, I think this is just what the Dr. ordered too. Your post was HILARIOUS.
Well, I'm off to give Emily and Abby a bath and hopefully put them to bed.
Blessings,
Kristina |

I hope everyone had a GREAT Thursday. I've felt a lot better today. My hands and feet are almost back to normal. Praise God!
Today is John's birthday. Emily and I cooked a big dinner and cake. It was nice.
Kelly, thanks for the advice on the shrimp scampi. I thought you would have some competition, but you don't. Mine wasn't nearly as good as yours. I think for my first time it was okay. John and Jonathan did eat it all though :-)
Michelle, I cooked the steaks you sent us. YUMMY!!!!! Thank you.
Mel, are you jealous that Stef and I now have some of those jeans? You looked too cute today. Good job on working the MK business. I'm proud of you.
Tina, it was nice hearing from you today.
I'm getting excited about me and John going away for the weekend. I'm going to read , eat and sleep all weekend. I can't wait. Please pray for safe travel for us.
Valerie, I was excited to hear from you. Be careful traveling. Thanks for all your cards and of course the stickers for Emily. Tell Dean hello for us. When are we going out for Mexican?
Teri and Mel, I love your Spanish. I need the info quicko on Matt? Stef, what was he wearing? Mel, I'm not the fashion police. Ask Stef about my outdated shoes that I refuse to stop wearing. Stef, I think we can bring this style back!
Rhonda, LOVED e-mailing you today. I can't wait to see you next week!
I'm off to play with the girls. They're going nuts. I think they both had a little too much cake.
Oh...before I forget, PLEASE sign this petition. Here is the link and it's on kristinascalling too. Thanks

I hope everyone had a good Tuesday.
Today has been a little tough. My feet and hands went from bad to worse today. I spoke with my research nurse and I'm not going to be able to take my chemo tonight or tomorrow. Tomorrow was the last day. Praise God that I was able to take almost the whole 14 days. Let's pray it's doing its job.
Heather, thank you for your post. His Word is such a comfort to me on days like this. My hope is in Him. I think I said that like 10 times on the "Making Strides" video. I was telling myself to stop saying that, but I couldn't.
I'm off to do nothing. I'm going to take it easy tonight. This is going to be a good day to start reading a new book. I think I will start reading Keep a Quiet Heart by Elisabeth Elliot. Thank you Debby for getting me this book. Stef, said it's really good.
Teri, the only place on me that was sore from the walk was the front of my thighs. I heard some people complaining of their shins hurting though. I don't think you're alone.
Tina, thanks for the e-mail. I can't believe how big your boys are getting. Give them a big HUG from us.
Thanks for all the posts. Keep the encouragement coming.
Blessings,
Kristina |

We've had a pretty good day today.
The girls and I went out to lunch with Claire and Edie. Thanks Claire for inviting us. It was nice to get out for awhile.
There are a ton of new pictures up. Go to Kristinascalling.com. They're on the left under photo albums. That was for you Keith. :-)
Where has everyone been? Where are the posts?
Tina, it was nice to hear from you. I'm sorry I was napping when you called. I've been a little tired today.
I'm also having a small side effect. My feet are really red and burning/itching. My hands are also really red and my finger tips are numb. I'm glad I will finish up this round on Wednesday. I pray it's working. I still like this chemo much better.
The girls have been a handful. I'm going to cut this short tonight.
I hope everyone has an AWESOME Tuesday.
Blessings,
Kristina |

Today was a great day. I felt good all day. I really thought I'd be sore but the Lord gave me strength!
Pastor Alan, those were two great messages today. I was definitely convicted by what you said about trusting Him. The contrast between Job's outcome and Isaiah and Jeremiah's outcomes was really powerful.
Claire, I'm so excited you came to church tonight! It was an awesome blessing to see you there. The Grace family loves you so much. They're seeing what I get to see every day. I so wish you were there with us all the time.
Heather, I was on Channel 4 News for all of 2 seconds. All I saw was Kristie's and my backside!
Tina, what is a big pink fist? Am I the only one that doesn't know what this is?
I may be dreaming this but I think my lymph node in my neck is actually a bit smaller than it was before. This would obviously be a huge praise if it was. I'm not getting my hopes up but I'm definitely excited about the possibility. I know it's in God's hands and I'm getting better day by day at handing it over to Him.
The girls are getting a little crazy so I'm going to try to put them to bed. Keep posting!
Blessings,
Kristina |

Okay...where do I start? Praise God that He gave us such a beautiful day. I was a little chilly this morning. I'm not sure if I was shaking from being cold or my nerves. If I looked nervous speaking in front of everyone....I WAS. I didn't realize how nervous that would make me. I doubt channel 4 will be calling anytime soon. I will keep my options open though. :-)
Kae, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for making this walk such a success. You're awesome! Are you guys up for next year?
Thank you to everyone who got up early to not only support me, but to support all women who are battling this disease. I'm soooo glad no one had to ride the van. Ms. Lee, I'm so proud of you. Thank you for walking.
Who made it to the finish line first? Was it seriously Kelly? Kristie and I just took our time. We took some pictures with a clown and talked to people along the way. My sister tried to get on TV. Kim, I'm going to die laughing if your face shows up tonight on channel 4. You're going to wish you didn't attack that camera.
Laurie, thank you for doing an article on me. You did a great job. I'm with Stef, I'm not sure who Addy is, but I'm sure Abby won't mind that I nursed Addy too. :-)
Teri, how are you holding up? Thank you for fighting through all the dizziness to walk with me. You go girl.
Mel, you missed an awesome time. We can't wait for you to get back.
I hope to get pictures on the site as soon as possible.
Stef, thanks for reading the article. I wish everyone could have been in the car with us (John, Stef, me, Maureen and Teri). We were all excited to get the article (thanks Kae for telling us where to go to get one). Stef started reading it and we all started crying. HILARIOUS!
Tina and Mary Ann, thank you for getting up with the chickens, dressing three children and driving downtown to support me. Also, thanks for the bracelets and breast cancer ribbon bagels. Emily and I have eaten two already. YUMMY!
Anna, thank you, thank you, thank you for the beautiful scarf. It came in handy when I started walking.
Keith and Jenni, thank you for taking pictures and being a part of such an important day. Please e-mail me those pictures.
Jonathan, what a good nephew you are. I saw you and Keith running. I'm impressed. I heard Jennifer Pasos passed you guys pushing a stroller. You go Jennifer.
Darcy, I'm mailing you the article. I wish you could have been here too. I'm going to get you to Nashville sometime soon.
Kim Flory, please update us on your friend Nicole. I want to know how to specifically pray for her.
I can't wait to see my church family tomorrow. I will bring Ibuprofen for everyone who is sore. hee hee
Today was amazing and I will never forget it. Thanks again guys. I don't know how I would get through this without you.
Blessings,
Kristina |

Okay....I thought I would journal early today. Who is ready to walk 5 miles? I think we may hit our goal of $10,000! Can you guys believe that? Thanks to everyone that has raised money for this awesome cause. You guys are AWESOME!
This morning was AWESOME! Thanks to everyone who was able to make it. Debby, thank you for watching the children.
Kae, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for getting all the shirts organized.
Kelly, thanks for skipping your workout to be with us this morning. You'll be walking 5 miles tomorrow. That can make up missing your work out from today. :-) Kelly, I'm really proud of you....you look GREAT!
Teri, YOU'RE CRAZY! Please no horns in a can, but please wear the socks. Kristie, please get that picture to me asap. I need to have it posted on this site. John, you will appreciate Teri's socks.
Claire, thanks for letting me practice my speech on the phone 10 times. What an awesome neighbor you are. Tell Edie I loved her song on my phone. I think God has blessed Edie with a voice like her mother.
I'm off to put some diapers on some baby dolls. We cleaned out the girls room and found a lot of baby dolls that need diapers. So cute!
I can't wait to see everyone tomorrow.
Blessings,

Two more days and we will be walking! Has everyone been training? Stef and I walked 4.6 miles today! I'm feeling pretty good about being able to do 5 miles.
Nancy, you would be proud. Stef and I started sewing again today. Okay....I tried to sew and totally messed up Abby's shirt. I think Stef was able to save the shirt. How many shirts did we get finished in three hours......one! :-) We did eat some good lasagna though. Oh, thank you for my birthday gift. You know I love my PJ's.
I can't wait to see my sisters in Christ tomorrow. Did you guys hear? A lady from the Mount Juliet Newspaper/Lebanon Democrat will be at our prayer meeting. She is going to put my story in the Saturday edition. I'm truly honored to be able to do that. I pray that God will be Glorified.
Mel, be careful. We're going to miss you this weekend.
Teri, I'm sooooo glad you will be able to make it tomorrow. Are you feeling better? Should I bring Emily's red wagon to the walk...just in case?
Thanks for the posts today. I really appreciate them.
Blessings,
Kristina |

What an AWESOME day! Thank you Stef for taking me out to lunch. It was nice to just hang out. I loved it.
I'm not as nervous about speaking now. I only have a minute to say what I need to say and to present the awards. There will be a survivor before me telling her story. I can't wait to hear it.
Go to Kristinascalling to get directions and our meeting place for Saturday. I will be there at 7:45 AM. Everything starts at 8:00 AM. I can't wait to see everyone!
Thanks for all the posts. Keep them coming.
I'm off to bed.

What an AWESOME Monday. We went to the Jumpy Place and celebrated Edie's birthday. Happy Birthday Edie. We had a great time!
I came home and took a nap with the girls. All that jumping wore me out. I thought I was still in shape...I'm not. :-)
I went this afternoon and bought the girls a new coat. This weather is crazy.
Teri, HOW ARE YOU? I hope you get to feeling better.
Please pray for my friend Kim Flory's co-worker. Her name is Beverly. She was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Kim, I'm so glad Beverly has you to help her through this. You've been there and done this. You will be an awesome encouragement for her as you are for me. Everyone will get to meet you Saturday!!!
Kae, loved your post. Thanks for the advice...I will totally blame the cancer/chemo brain if I mess up.
I'm glad everyone got the bracelets. Let me know if anyone else needs some. I have a few left.
I can't wait to see everyone Saturday. I can't believe we're #1 in Nashville. You guys rock! Kae, thank you for all your hard work in organizing the money and shirts.
Well, I'm off to bed early tonight.
Thanks for all the sweet posts! Have a wonderful Tuesday.
Blessings,
